Songwon launched a new antioxidant Songnox 5057

Songwon has developed and introduced a new antioxidant Songnox 5057. Songnox 5057 supplements Songwon's extensive range of amino, phenolic, phosphorous acid and thioester antioxidants. This new liquid butyl octylated ammonia antioxidant is suitable for a variety of substrates, including polyols. It is specially designed for flexible polyurethane block foam, elastomers and hot-melt adhesives. Foam is widely used in many different industries, such as furniture, bedding, automobile parts and sporting goods. The combination of Songnox 5057 and hindered phenols (such as Songnox 1135 or Songnox 1076) can protect polyols from degradation during storage and transportation. In addition, this combination prevents the burning of polyurethane foam, which is the color change of the foam center.

Songnox 5057 is manufactured at Songwon's world-class factory in Ulsan, South Korea. Because other industrial standard amino acid and phenolic (Songnox 1135) antioxidants have been produced there, new products can help to further increase economic value by improving production efficiency and scale.
