Woolworths Supermarket in Weizhou recalled Ingham fried chicken chops Wednesday for fear of gluten allergens. The recalled Ingham fried chicken chops weighed 440 grams per serving and were labeled gluten-free, according to Australian New Zealand. com. It is reported that this batch of products began to go on sale on March 29 and the shelf life lasted until April 8.
In response, Ingham told the media: "The recall was due to incorrect packaging (Southern Style Tenders products were incorrectly placed in the gluten-free chicken steak packaging), and the product did not let customers know that it contained gluten allergens. Customers who are allergic to gluten should not eat these products." In addition, customers who have purchased the product should return it to the place of purchase and receive a full refund.
