Tianjin Petrochemical produces ultra-low density polyethylene products
Recently, Sinopec’s own technology-gas-liquid fluidized bed polyethylene complete technology application has made a major breakthrough, and a series of ultra-low-density polyethylene products have been successfully produced in Tianjin Petrochemical. The successful output and performance improvement of this ultra-low-density series of products have further enriched the structure of Sinopec’s polyolefin products, increased the production capacity of high value-added products, and laid a solid foundation for increasing the high-end market share of polyolefins.
Ultra-low density polyethylene is a polymer linear olefin copolymer with low density, low crystallinity, and excellent impact resistance, flexibility and extensibility. According to the characteristics of ultra-low-density products, technicians visited downstream customers and finally decided to promote and apply them in the fields of stretch casing film, pasture film, and polypropylene modification.
In order to ensure the smooth production of products, the Olefin Department held a special meeting to determine the production plan, product name, performance indicators and packaging requirements. During the production process, they solved the problems of reactor pressure, temperature and discharge speed. While ensuring product quality and output, they shortened the time for brand switching as much as possible. They successfully switched LX-1612, LX-0505, and LX-0505 in just 3 days. Five new brands of products, such as LX-1010, LX-0820, and LX-0840, have effectively improved product production efficiency. A total of 834 tons of ultra-low-density products of 5 brands were produced, and all indicators reached the standard. At present, technicians are promoting the trial, and the efficiency of each ton of products is about 1,000 yuan.
