Epoxy resin fell broadly in October
The epoxy resin market fell broadly in October. According to the monitoring data of the business agency, the East China liquid resin market was offered at 37,700 CNY/ton on October 1, and the market fell to 32,750 CNY/ton on November 1, which was a decrease of 13.13. %. The sharp decline in the epoxy resin market was mainly affected by the decline in the raw materials, and the cost side support declined.
The decline of bisphenol A continues, and the decline in cost support is the most important factor in the continuous decline of the epoxy resin market. In the declining market, the downstream is more cautious about the purchase of raw materials. Under the weak demand, the consumption of the market sources is slow, and the purchase of small orders is mainly used, which further suppresses the atmosphere of market negotiations.
The price of epichlorohydrin slowed down weakly, and the decline was slightly less than that of epoxy resin, which was mainly reflected in solid resin. The epoxy resin market lacks good news for the time being, and the price of epichlorohydrin has also fallen at a high level in the short term. The decline of epoxy resin will further increase.
In terms of equipment: the overall operating rate of liquid resin is about 60%; the operating rate of solid resin is 4-5%.
At the end of October, the major domestic factories Nantong Xingchen and Changchun Chemical Plants completed their overhauls. A 120,000-ton/year bisphenol A plant in Tianjin Zhongsha was put into operation. Another new plant, the Pingmei Shenma 130,000-ton/year plant, was planned for trial operation in the near future. , The domestic future supply is expected to increase, and the raw material end bisphenol A market is expected to fall mainly. From an industry perspective, after a round of highs, the chemical industry index turned down. Buyers and sellers in the industry were cautious and wait-and-see sentiment increased. Business analysts believe that more attention will be paid to the impact of industry policies in the later period. From the current situation, the November ring Oxygen resin market may continue to bottom out.
