In Q1 of 2019, the national fixed assets investment increased by 6.3%

According to the news released today by the National Bureau of Statistics, in January-March 2019, the national fixed assets investment (excluding farmers) was 10187.1 billion yuan, an increase of 6.3% over the same period last year, an increase of 0.2 percentage points over January-February. In terms of ring-to-ring speed, fixed assets investment (excluding farmers) increased by 0.45% in March. Among them, private investment in fixed assets was 6149.2 billion yuan, up 6.4% year-on-year, down 1.1 percentage points from January to February. From the perspective of sub-industries, the investment in the primary industry is 240.8 billion yuan, up 3% year on year, and the growth rate is 0.7 percentage points lower than that in January-February; the investment in the secondary industry is 3322.4 billion yuan, up 4.2%, down 1.3 percentage points; and the investment in the tertiary industry is 6624 billion yuan, up 7.5%, up 1 percentage point. In the secondary industry, industrial investment increased by 4.4% year on year, and the growth rate fell by 1.4 percentage points compared with January-February. Among them, mining investment increased by 14.8%, and the growth rate fell by 26.6 percentage points; manufacturing investment increased by 4.6%, and the growth rate fell by 1.3 percentage points; investment in power, heat, gas and water production and supply increased by 0.7%, and fell by 1.4% in January-February. In the tertiary industry, infrastructure investment (excluding electricity, heat, gas and water production and supply) increased by 4.4% year on year, and the growth rate was 0.1 percentage points higher than that in January-February. Among them, investment in water resources management industry decreased by 5.5% and increased by 3.7 percentage points; investment in public facilities management industry decreased by 0.6% and narrowed by 2.3 percentage points; investment in road transport industry increased by 10.5%, growth rate fell by 2.5 percentage points; investment in railway transport industry increased by 11%, growth rate fell by 11.5 percentage points.
Regionally, investment in the eastern region increased by 4.3% year-on-year, 1 percentage point higher than that in January-February; investment in the central region increased by 9.6% and 0.2 percentage points higher; investment in the western region increased by 7.8% and 0.2 percentage points higher; investment in the northeast region increased by 2.9%, and the growth rate fell by 2.8 percentage points. According to the types of registration, the investment of domestic-funded enterprises increased by 6.4% year-on-year, the growth rate was the same as that in January-February; the investment of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan businesses increased by 2.8% and 2.8% respectively; and the growth rate of foreign investment increased by 8.7% and 5.3%.
