Datang Power Generation: Coal Price This Year Closer to Green Range

Ying Xuejun, deputy general manager of Datang Power Generation, said at a recent annual performance press conference that coal prices may fall somewhat this year, closer to the Green Zone under the guidance of the state. According to Ying Xuejun, the coal cost of the Group in 2018 was about 610 yuan per ton (the same below), up by 3.2% annually. It is expected that coal prices will fall this year after a two-year high consolidation in the case of reduced capacity and demand, which is closer to the Green Zone under the guidance of the state.
He mentioned that last year, the group market sold 97.7 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity, accounting for 38.5% of the total electricity on the Internet, an annual increase of 3.2%, and a comprehensive discount of 30 points. Electricity sales are expected to rise by nearly 10% this year, with discounts expected to be similar to last year. According to Ying Xuejun, the capital expenditure of the group last year was 11.9 billion yuan, of which coal and electricity accounted for more than 7 billion yuan. As the peak period of construction of five conventional coal-fired power units has passed, capital expenditure is expected to fall to about 7.4 billion yuan this year, of which 2.9 billion yuan are coal-fired power and more than 3 billion yuan are wind power. This year, about 2 million kilowatt-hours of new installed capacity materials are added. In addition, he said that the company had no equity financing plan this year, and other financing directions depended on the financing cost.
