The Prices of Dual Raw Materials Are Rising Steadily, And The Epoxy Resin Market Is Beginning to Differentiate
This week, the dual raw material market continued its upward trend last week, with prices steadily rising slightly. The epoxy resin market has relatively rare market differentiation.
1. Overview of the raw material market
As of December 15th, the market reference price of bisphenol A was 16,300 CNY/ton, an increase of 500 yuan over the same period last week; epichlorohydrin had a larger increase, and the latest market reference price was 15,500 CNY/ton, an increase of 1,100 yuan over the same period last week. Yuan.
At present, the operating rate of epichlorohydrin plants is still relatively low, and most of the ECH plants with glycerol method stop production or decrease the load. The current mentality of manufacturers is mainly to push up.
With the recovery of Sinopec Yanshan Polycarbonate's bisphenol A plant, all major bisphenol A plants are currently operating normally, and the industry operating rate has maintained a high level. However, there are not many bisphenol A spot resources recently, and the quotations of mainstream manufacturers are relatively strong: Lihuayi's bisphenol A product price is 16,100 CNY/ton, and this price will start on December 14; Changchun Chemical (Jiangsu) is quoting 16,500 CNY/ton; Nanya Plastics (Ningbo) bisphenol A is quoting 16,500 CNY/ton.
2、epoxy resin market analysis
With the rebound in the prices of dual raw materials, the current market trends of the two types of epoxy resins have begun to diverge.
The price of solid epoxy resin has been hovering near the cost line, and it is more sensitive to the price trend of raw materials. It is more passive to follow the rise and fall of raw materials. The latest reference price of E12 solid epoxy resin is about 22,000 CNY/ton, which has increased nearly compared with the same period last week. Thousand yuan
Liquid epoxy resin still has a large profit of several thousand at present. Most downstream companies are holding a wait-and-see attitude. The market participation is not high. The price of E51 liquid epoxy resin is still falling this week. The latest reference price of E51 liquid epoxy resin is 25,500 yuan. /Ton, down nearly 1,000 yuan from the same period last week.
