Zibo Zhengda Plans To Build A 90,000-ton Polyetheramine Project
Zibo Zhengda plans to build a 90,000-ton polyetheramine project in Maqiao Industrial Park, Huantai County, a provincial chemical park. It plans to start production of 40,000 tons in July 2022 and expand its production by 50,000 tons in 2023 to help "carbon peak" And the development of “carbon neutrality” escorts raw materials for clean energy production.
Zibo Zhengda mainly produces polyethers such as ZD-123, ZT-143, ZD-140, ZD-1200, ZT-1500, ZED-601, ZED-901, ZED-2031, ZM-1100, ZM-1207, ZFL-1001, etc. Amine products have a high degree of market recognition, and currently rank first in domestic production scale and sales volume.
Polyetheramine is a polymer containing polyether and amine groups. It is mainly used to improve the toughness, flexibility, hydrophobicity or hydrophilicity of end products. It is widely used in epoxy flooring, jewelry glue, wind turbine blade manufacturing, Beauty joint agent, polyurea spraying, composite materials and adhesives industries; it is also widely used in many fields such as water treatment, oil and gas exploitation, fuel additives, mineral separation, high-speed railway base protection, subsea tunnel protection and waterproofing, chemical equipment anticorrosion and waterproofing, etc.
At present, the global polyetheramine market is mainly dominated by foreign chemical giants such as Huntsman and BASF, with few domestic suppliers and low production capacity. The expansion of Zibo Zhengda will effectively alleviate the current domestic supply shortage. The price of polyetheramine will gradually return to rationality. At the same time, it will gradually expand foreign markets and increase the influence of domestic polyetheramine in the world.
