According to the news of the National Development and Reform Commission on June 19, in order to promote the green, sustainable and high-quality development of China's petrochemical industry, the Sinopec Federation and the Chinese Academy of Engineering jointly organized the Forum on Independent Innovation and High-quality Development of China's petrochemical industry in Yantai, Shandong Province. The Industrial Development Department of the Development and Reform Commission is mainly responsible for comrades attending the meeting. The meeting pointed out that in order to promote the high-quality development of petrochemical industry, we should conscientiously implement the decision-making and deployment of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, focusing on "safety, innovation, green and agglomeration". We should take innovation as the first driving force, strengthen the leading and supporting role of innovation in the petrochemical industry, break through a number of core technical bottlenecks, enhance the integration ability of innovation chain, industry chain and value chain, speed up the process of digitalization, networking and intellectualization of the petrochemical industry, cultivate world-class enterprises with core competitiveness, and promote the high-quality development of the petrochemical industry.
