On July 1, the reporter learned from the Provincial Development and Reform Commission that the prices of major food products in our province were basically stable last week. The summer solstice has passed, the temperature has climbed, the storage period of eggs has been shortened, the farmers and dealers have been shipping more positively, and the procurement in the sales area has not been positive, resulting in a certain degree of "oversupply". Last week, the eggs continued to slide, and the price of pork continued to rise continuously, and the price of live pigs increased the price of pork, because the summer was the off-season of pork consumption. The pork supply gap in the market is not obvious and the price increase of pork is limited, but the overall situation of the gap expanding month by month has not changed. Compared with the same period last year, the 33 main food items monitored increased by 112.02% in garlic, 51.06% in pig and 29% in pork. 12% lean meat, 23.72% lean meat, 25.34% Chinese cabbage, 24.46% tomato and 14.96% celery. Major grain and oil market prices fluctuated slightly over the same period of last year, including corn, standard flour, special flour, noodles, soybean oil prices rose slightly over the same period of last year, wheat prices were flat over the same period of last year, and japonica rice prices declined. The average price of wheat blends monitored on June 28 was 1.13 yuan per 500 grams in the whole province, which was flat on a weekly basis and 2.50% lower on a year-on-year basis. On that day, the average price of corn in the whole province was 0.93 yuan per 500 grams, the weekly ratio was flat, rising 1.09% annually and 2.20% year-on-year. Aquatic product prices fluctuated slightly weekly, and decreased significantly year-on-year. According to monitoring, on June 28, the prices of hairtail, carp and grass carp were 12.13 yuan, 6.77 yuan and 7.48 yuan per 500 grams respectively, which decreased by 5.31%, 4.78% and 8.78% year on year.

Pig and pork prices continued to rise, and the increase was wider than the same period last year. According to monitoring, the price of live pigs continued to rise last week, which led to the rise of pork prices. The weather was hot and the diet of residents tended to be light. At present, the pork supply gap in the market is not obvious, but the overall situation of the growing pork supply gap has not changed. It is expected that the situation will continue to be strong in the short term. Last week, the price of eggs continued to decline, but still higher than the same period last year. On June 28, the average price of eggs in the province was 4.02 yuan per 500 grams, down 1.95% on a weekly basis, down 9.26% on a annular basis and up 7.49% on a year-on-year basis.

The pork price continued to rise throughout the country, and the northeast region rose significantly. The impact of the epidemic in the southern region is still more prominent. After a period of concentrated selling, there are not many pigs in the market, and prices are showing signs of improvement. At present, the market consumption is still weak. The supply gap of live pigs is not obvious. The price increase of pigs is limited. As time goes on, the gap of pig supply is further expanded, and the overall upward trend in the future is the mainstream of the market.
