This Week's Aniline Market Remains Firm (10.20-10.24)
October 24th News
I. Price Trends
According to the commodity market analysis system, the aniline market in China maintained stable operations this week. The price of aniline was 7,935 CNY per ton on October 20th and 7,995 CNY per ton on October 24th, with a weekly price increase of 0%, down 18.31% compared to the same period last year.
II. Analysis and Commentary
This week, the aniline market saw suppliers holding firm on prices, with robust pricing. As of this Friday, the mainstream quotation for aniline in the Chinese market was 7950-8050 CNY/ton. During the week, major factories increased their load, and maintenance units were preparing to restart, but supply-side support remained insufficient. Downstream demand maintained a just-in-time approach, while raw material prices continued to weaken. Under the influence of multiple factors, the aniline market operated in a stalemate and consolidation.
Cost aspect: The main ports in East China continue to reduce their inventories of pure benzene, and the market sentiment is weak. Coupled with the downstream's inability to follow the price increases, losses have intensified, and there is a lack of new orders from end-users. The high inventory levels of secondary downstream users are difficult to reduce, and the resistance to price transmission is significant. As a result, the pure benzene market in China continues to weaken and decline.
III. Future Market Outlook
Currently, the Aniline market has exhausted all positive supply-side factors. With weak demand coupled with sluggish cost conditions, the market is expected to trend downward rather than upward in the near term.
