Linyi: Fruit and pork prices continue to rise in June?

Some time ago, people in Linyi felt that they couldn't afford meat or fruit. More people joked, "I thought that only I could not afford to eat fruit alone, and I was very gratified to see that everyone could not afford to eat it. Now, besides watermelons and peaches, fruits are cheaper, but they can not afford to eat anything else. They can only be a"melon eater". On June 10, the National Bureau of Statistics released the national CPI data. Compared with the same period last year, the CPI rose by 2.7%. Among them, fresh fruits and pork became the "main forces" driving the CPI. So in Linyi market, will the price of fruit and pork continue to soar? Fruit and pork drive up the price index expecting that after summer, the price of fruits and vegetables will fall because of centralized listing, but the price of meat is still so strong. Although the growth of fruits has stopped, it is still at a high level compared with previous years. That is to say, some of the summer fruit market led to a decline in the ring-to-ring price growth, but prices remain high year-on-year growth. The growth of fruit and pork prices has directly kept the overall consumer price index (CPI) high. Recently, according to the latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, consumer prices in June 2019 rose by 2.7% year-on-year. Among them, food prices rose 8.3%, non-food prices rose 1.4%, consumer prices rose 3.2%, service prices rose 1.8%. In the first half of the year, the consumer price of the whole country rose by 2.2% compared with the same period last year. The sharp rise in fruit and pork prices in June was the main driving force behind the rise in food prices, which in turn helped keep the overall price index rising. Pork price has obvious influence on CPI index as an important component of CPI food. Since the Spring Festival this year, pork prices have been rising all the time. In summer, pork consumption usually goes into the off-season, but now pork prices are still strong. The reason for this is that, in 2018, the supply gap of African swine plague in northern China began to appear in June this year. According to statistics from the Ministry of agriculture and rural areas, the total pig population in the whole country decreased by 22.9% in May compared with the same period last year, so the price of pork will keep rising in the future. Price increases or purchasing power decreases. Yimeng Evening News reporter in Jiuzhou supermarket pork counter to see that the purchase of consumers is not many. In front of the station, a pork dealer told reporters: "Don't worry about the high price of pork now. There are fewer people raising pigs and fewer people on the market. At least in the second half of the year, pork will always rise. According to the current momentum, around the Mid-Autumn Festival, it will have to break through the 20 yuan mark."
Fruit prices in June are described as "soaring" in two words. There are two reasons. On the one hand, the small output of some fruits last year led to insufficient market supply. On the other hand, some fruits are not listed centrally in the current season and the demand is relatively stable. Next, prices of related fruits, such as apples, have risen significantly. According to Xiao Wen, manager of Jianhua Fruit Market in Linyi Jiaxing, apples are mainly produced in the north. Last year, many orchards were seriously affected by climate, and some of them had zero fruit hanging rate. Now, apples are in stock last year. The demand is large, but the stock is getting smaller and smaller, which directly caused the price of apples this year. Gradually rising, the retail price of supermarkets is approaching the 20 yuan mark. Southern fruits are harvested and transported because of heavy rainfall in their producing areas, and the price rise is also reasonable. Fruit prices are daunting, but in July, with a large number of fresh fruits on the market, the overall price of fruits will remain stable, or will make up for the decline. Many fruits come on stage after you sing. In Linyi early city, local nectarines and peaches are as low as 2 yuan, supermarkets are less than 3 yuan, and watermelons have lowered the average price of fruits. "Now the living standard is high and I am used to buying some fruits, but the price of fruits was really unacceptable some time ago. I started to buy tomatoes and cucumbers instead of fruits for my children. Even if I bought apples, I had to buy them one by one and cut them apart at home. These days are not bad, peaches, watermelons, melons and so on are not expensive, there are many choices. Wu, a citizen who bought peaches with her children, told Yimeng Evening News.
