Luzhou apple price keeps high and pork price rises again

Recently, a reporter visited the market and found that due to the seasonal vegetable market, prices fell sharply; because extreme weather led to a large reduction in fruit production, prices rose; some farmers are not in a high mood to fill hurdles, fewer hurdles, pork prices may rise again. Fresh vegetables: A large number of vegetables were listed, and the prices fell sharply in the first half of the year. The vegetable prices in Luzhou City fluctuated obviously under the influence of climate and festivals. From the same price point of view, the price of fresh vegetables in Luzhou shows a rising trend every month, and the increase is gradually expanding. From January to February, the temperature in Luzhou dropped below 10 C. Because of the increase of freight and anti-freezing costs, some vegetables in other places increased greatly. At the same time, due to the increase of consumption demand during the Spring Festival, stall vendors shut down more during the festival, and the price of fresh vegetables rose by 3% and 4.6% respectively. After the warm weather in March, the price of fresh vegetables fell, but with the continuous warming in April, the price of fresh vegetables continued to rise, rising by 4.9% annually. In May, the weather gradually increased and rainwater was abundant. The variety and quantity of fresh vegetables increased significantly, and the price dropped by 0.5%.
In mid-May, local vegetables were not on the market. The price of Erjingzi from abroad was 7-8 yuan/kg, cowpea was 5 yuan/kg, balsam melon was 5-6 yuan/kg, luffa and tomatoes were 4-5 yuan/kg. According to the market survey of Luzhou Investigation Team of the National Bureau of Statistics, most vegetables in Luzhou wholesale market come from Yunnan, Guangdong, Gansu and other places outside the province, and some come from Chengdu within the province. The price rise is mainly related to supply and demand, cost and other factors. According to the June survey data of Luzhou Investigation Team of the National Bureau of Statistics, the price of fresh vegetables in Luzhou fell by 6.5% annually. Of the 25 fresh vegetable varieties surveyed, only 4 rose in price and 11 fell in price. As autumn carrots began to sow this month, market sales declined, so the biggest increase, up 20% annually; while cucumber, luffa, eggplant, tomatoes and hollow cabbage and other seasonal vegetables on the market, prices fell sharply, falling by more than 10%, of which cucumbers fell by more than 20%.
On July 11, the reporter visited many supermarkets and agricultural markets and learned that the price of local hollow cabbage, balsam pear, towel gourd, cucumber and tomato is about 3 yuan/kg.
Fresh fruits: Extreme weather led to price increases
On July 11, reporters saw in supermarkets and farmers'markets near Dashanping in Jiangyang District that the price of fruits such as yellow peach, honey peach and grape per kilogram was about 7 yuan, compared with 2 yuan/kilogram of watermelon and 4-5 yuan/kilogram of banana, the cheaper fruit was 2 yuan/kilogram of watermelon and 4-5 yuan/kilogram of banana. According to fruit store owner He Erxiu, this year's local litchi harvest, the market price is cheaper than last year, and last year the litchi concubine laughed and sold 40-50 yuan/kg.
"Six apples, 32 yuan, like to eat apples, buy them again expensive." In the fruit market, there are not many customers who buy apples. The customers who choose apples exclaim the high price and also say that they will not affect their purchasing. "When the price of apples goes up, the market price goes up. The price of apples is between 11 and 14 yuan per kilogram." Zhang Li, who has been doing fruit business for more than ten years in Shimagou Agricultural Market, said that because apples are more expensive this year than in previous years, sales in stores have decreased by about 20% compared with previous years. At the beginning of the year, the price of apples was about 10 yuan, and now it has increased by more than 3 yuan.
"Nongjiale grapes can be picked by themselves for only 3-4 yuan." Ms. Wu, a citizen, said that fruits on the market were more expensive this year. She and her friends went to the farmhouse around Luzhou many times to grow fruits and pick fruits. In her view, this year's price hike in the market has brought business to the surrounding farmhouse.
According to the relevant personages of Luzhou Investigation Team of the National Bureau of Statistics, this year, some areas suffered from extreme weather, resulting in a large reduction in fruit production, inadequate market supply, coupled with the increase in planting, logistics, transportation and labor, resulting in a rise in fruit prices.
Pork: Pork prices increased by 12.8% in January-June compared with the same period of last year, according to the survey data of Luzhou Investigation Team of the National Bureau of Statistics. It is understood that since the lifting of the blockade in January 2019, the impact of the epidemic has weakened, market supply has increased, and pork prices have continued to fall in January-May, but the decline is small and still at a high level. In the first half of 2019, the selling price of spareribs was no less than 35 yuan per kilogram, pork in various styles was no less than 25 yuan per kilogram, and pork in the back seat was no less than 26 yuan per kilogram. After June, pork market supply declined and pork prices rebounded.
People from the Luzhou Investigation Team of the National Bureau of Statistics said that the rising price of food and feed and the rising cost of fencing led to the concentration of live pigs out of the market, which to some extent increased the market supply. Moreover, the public stored a lot of bacon, sausage and so on before the Spring Festival, and the daily purchase demand was not large, which led to a slight decline in pork prices in the early period. In the long run, some farmers are not in a high mood to fill the hurdles, and their stockpiles are reduced. The pork cycle may hit the bottom in advance or will rise again.
