New Durable, High-Performance, Fluorine-Free PV Backsheets

Win-win cooperation
"Traditionally, PV backsheets were built using laminate technology," explains Grimberg. “To stick paper together, you need to use adhesives. Reduce LCOE and carbon footprint
Grimberg said that high-performance PV backplane has multiple advantages. “It provides extra energy output and is very durable. Because of the adhesiveless co-extrusion process, these layers are more or less inseparable. These rugged panels can handle the harsh environment in the desert very well, desert erosion They can cause serious damage to solar panels.They also have a low moisture permeability - or WVTR (Water Vapor Transmission Rate). Increasing durability significantly reduces the module's energy balance cost (LCOE)."

Life-cycle analysis shows that our negative film carbon footprint is 30% lower than that of fluorine-based products.
