Horizontally, the World Trade Organization recently released its latest Global Trade Data and Prospects report, which dramatically lowered its forecast of Global trade growth this year to 2.6% from the previous 3.7%. In terms of foreign trade performance, in the first quarter of this year, the total import and export volume of German goods trade fell by 4.4%, Japan by 4.7%, and Korea by 7.7%. According to customs statistics, China's general trade imports and exports in the first half of the year were 8.78 trillion yuan, up 5.5% from the same period last year, accounting for 59.9% of China's total foreign trade value, an increase of 0.9 percentage points over the same period last year. "Compared with processing trade, the domestic industrial chain of general trade is long and its added value is high. The increase in the proportion of general trade exports means that China's ability to develop its own foreign trade will be further enhanced. Li Quiwen said.

In terms of commodity categories, China's exports of mechanical and electrical products in the first half of the year amounted to 4.63 trillion yuan, an increase of 5.3% over the previous year, accounting for 58.2% of the total value of China's foreign trade exports. In the fields of automobiles, machinery and equipment, electrical appliances and electronic products, the international competitiveness of China's export products has increased significantly.

Five years ago, the average unit price of small buses exported from China was 8,000 US dollars, and now it has exceeded 12,000 US dollars. From the initial export to Asia, Africa, Latin America and other emerging markets, and now to Europe and the United States, Chinese auto companies have moved to high-end overseas markets.

Facing the change of external environment, China's foreign trade is stable
