Cooperative Intelligent Charging Service of Four Real Estate Developers in China

On July 28, at Hengda headquarters in Shenzhen, China's top four real estate giants, Biguiyuan, Hengda, Vanke, Rongchuang, signed a service cooperation agreement with Hengda Intelligent Energy Services Co., Ltd. Xu Jiayin, Chairman of Hengda Group, Mobin, President of Biguiyuan Group, Zhu Jiusheng, President of Vanke Group, Wang Mengde, President of Rongchuang China, and Xia Haijun, President of Hengda Group, were present at the signing ceremony.
The signing ceremony was led by Hengda and Guofang. It is understood that the State Grid Hengda Intelligent Energy Services Company is a joint venture of the State Grid and Hengda Group, each holding 50% of the shares. Its main business is the intelligent charging service focusing on community parking spaces. At present, the four major housing enterprises have 5468 communities, 8.72 million households and about 31 million owners in China. The signing of this cooperation means that the construction of charging piles will be comprehensively promoted in their respective communities, and the intelligent energy service system will be introduced to provide intelligent charging services for owners. In recent years, as a strategic emerging industry supported by the state, new energy vehicles have developed rapidly, but the construction and operation of community charging infrastructure has lagged behind seriously. The data show that in 2018, China's new energy vehicle ownership is close to 3 million, charging infrastructure ownership is 808,000, pile ratio is 3.7:1. Especially in residential communities, there are insufficient number of charging piles and high charging costs, which also bring hidden dangers to community safety.
