Hengli to Restart PTA Unit in H1, Aug
Hengli's 1# 2.2 million mt/yr PTA unit was shut on Jun 22 during to a fault detected accidentally and started annual maintenance ahead of schedule. The maintenance duration was prolonged from 15 days to 40 days and Hengli will restart the unit in the early half of Aug. According to Hengli, this maintenance will cost production loss of about 150 KT, which accounts for 2.27% of Hengli's annual production and Hengli will cut Aug contract supply by 20%.
