China's trade in services exceeded 2.6 trillion yuan in the first half year

According to data released by the Ministry of Commerce on May 5, China's total trade in services exceeded 2.6 trillion yuan in the first half of 2019, an increase of 2.6% over the same period last year, with a deficit of about 740 billion yuan, down by 10.5% over the same period last year. According to the data of the Ministry of Commerce, in the first half of 2019, China's total trade in services reached 2612.46 billion yuan, an increase of 2.6% over the same period last year. Among them, exports amounted to 933.37 billion yuan, an increase of 9%; imports amounted to 1679.08 billion yuan, a decrease of 0.6%; and deficits amounted to 745.71 billion yuan, a decrease of 10.5%.
Industry insiders pointed out that the successive tax reduction and fee reduction policies and the deepening of innovative development pilot of service trade have stimulated the endogenous driving force for the development of service trade and promoted the further expansion of the advantages of service export.
