Avante launches infrared heat storage fiber additive
On April 13, Avante announced the launch of CESA fiber additive products, providing a new generation of infrared heat storage additive formulations for fiber textile application design, helping brands to more easily meet consumers' needs for lightweight and comfortable outdoor clothing.
It is reported that fabrics made with CESA infrared heat storage fiber additives can absorb more heat in the sun, and the photothermal active particles added to the fibers help to convert the energy of invisible light into heat, thereby improving the performance of clothing in low temperature environments. lower thermal performance. This new generation of infrared heat-storage additives heats polyester and nylon fabrics by 12°C after 10 minutes of exposure to a light source.
Say-Eng Lee, Vice President and General Manager, Colors and Additives, Avante Asia, said: "Outdoor activities are an integral part of contemporary lifestyles, and even cold weather can't stop people from getting outdoors. This has led to an increasing demand for functional apparel that is warm and lightweight. We continue to innovate and improve fabric solutions to help our customers meet the changing needs of consumers and keep them ahead in a dynamic marketplace. "
