IMCD Acquires Dong Yang FT, Entering the Korean Beauty Sector
IMCD, a global partner specializing in the distribution and formulation of specialty chemicals and ingredients, has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of Dong Yang FT.
Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, Dong Yang FT is a distributor of high-quality cosmetic ingredients, partnering with cosmetic manufacturers in the beauty and personal care sectors. Dong Yang FT's revenue was projected to be 55.3 billion Korean Won (approximately €34 million) in 2024.
The acquisition will help IMCD strengthen its presence in South Korea and expand its product offerings in the beauty and personal care market. South Korea is one of the most innovative and largest beauty and personal care markets in the world, a global exporter of beauty products, and a recognized trendsetter.

The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close in the first quarter of 2026.
