Shandong Port Group is headquartered in the city of Qingdao.

On August 6, Shandong Port Group was founded in Qingdao today with its headquarters in Dagang and Li Fengli as its general manager. According to previous media reports, Shandong Port Group was formed by Shandong High Speed Group, Qilu Transportation Development Group, Yankuang Group and Shandong Energy Group to fulfill the obligations of provincial investors, and to subscribe 50% (a total of 5 billion yuan), after the listing of the provincial Port Group, the remaining 50% will be in place in 2019. Subsequently, Qingdao Port, Yantai Port and Rizhao Port Group will contribute to the Provincial Port Group on the basis of book value, while Bohai Bay Port Group will contribute to the Provincial Port Group on the basis of book value and the sum of the assets assessment of the integrated port enterprises approved by the Provincial State Assets Management Commission.
