Over the next three years, Zhenjiang New Area will take the green transformation of chemical industry as its most important mission, optimize the ecological environment and strive to reduce energy consumption per unit of industrial added value by 20% by 2021, and increase tax revenue per mu by more than 30%.

Strict safety supervision and strengthening source management

In recent years, Zhenjiang New Area has deployed and implemented safety production and economic work together, strengthened source management, innovated safety supervision, and ensured the sustainable and stable situation of safety production.

In order to build the "safety cornerstone" of high-quality development, Zhenjiang New Area New Material Industrial Park last year explored and tried out the integral management mechanism of hidden danger investigation and management, bringing into management 20 major hazard enterprises, 31 chemical enterprises, 21 general industrial and trade enterprises and 44 enterprises with four inspection frequencies, according to the scale of enterprises, The type, quantity and degree of hidden dangers are assigned, and the evaluation mechanism is constructed in the form of integral ranking to urge enterprises to strengthen the investigation and management of hidden dangers.

New Material Industrial Park also ensures safe production by intelligent management. This year, the New Material Industrial Park was successfully selected as the pilot demonstration (establishment) unit of China Intelligent Chemical Industry Park.
