China's industrial economy ranks first in the world

"China has become the only country in the world with all the industrial categories listed in the United Nations Industrial Classification. Its industrial added value has increased from 12 billion yuan in 1952 to more than 30 trillion yuan in 2018, an increase of about 971 times at constant prices, with an average annual increase of 11%. On September 20, at a press conference held by the Information Office of the State Council, Miao Wei, Minister of Industry and Information Technology, introduced the development of industrial communication industry. He said that industry is the foundation of founding a country and building a strong country. Informatization is a powerful engine to promote the progress of the times. At present, China has built a complete, independent and complete modern industrial system. The scale of industrial economy has leapt to the top of the world. The scale of digital economy reaches 31 trillion yuan.
Introduction of Miaowei. Since the founding of New China 70 years ago, especially since the reform and opening up, China's industry has achieved a historic leap. In 1992, China's industrial added value broke through the 1 trillion yuan mark, in 2007 it broke through the 10 trillion yuan mark, in 2012 it broke through the 20 trillion yuan mark, and in 2018 it broke through the 300 trillion yuan mark. In 2018, our country's manufacturing added value accounted for more than 28% of the world's share, becoming an important engine driving global industrial growth. Among the more than 500 major industrial products in the world, more than 220 industrial products are produced by China, which ranks first in the world.
According to World Bank data, China's manufacturing added value surpassed that of the United States as the largest manufacturing country in 2010, marking that China has regained its status as the largest manufacturing country in the world after one and a half centuries since the mid-nineteenth century. At the same time, the technological innovation capability of China's industrial communication industry has been greatly improved, especially after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. With the further implementation of the innovation-driven development strategy, China has achieved the strategic goal of "occupying a place" in the main areas and directions.
It is reported that China's independently developed high-speed train, the third generation nuclear power "Hualong 1" and so on have reached the international advanced level, and a number of leading manufacturing enterprises, such as Huawei and Zhongcha, have emerged. Taking the mobile communication industry as an example, China has experienced "2G follow-up, 3G breakthrough" and achieved a historic leap of "4G synchronization" and "5G lead". The number of 5G standard essential patents is the first in the world. Under the strong traction of information and communication technology, by the end of 2018, China's digital economy has reached 31 trillion yuan, accounting for 1/3 of GDP. After 70 years of development, we now have 41 industrial classes, 207 industrial middle classes and 666 industrial sub-classes, forming an independent and complete modern industrial system, which is the only country in the world with all the industrial classes in the United Nations Industrial Classification. Home. As the main body of innovation, enterprises continue to increase investment in R&D, and the level of technological innovation is constantly improving, which has become the fundamental driving force and source of promoting the sustained and rapid development of China. According to the introduction of
, the intensity of R&D investment of Industrial Enterprises above the national scale increased from 0.56% in 2004 to 1.06% last year in 2017, and the number of effective invention patents of Industrial Enterprises above the scale reached 934,000, an increase of 29.8 times over 2004. Some technologies have moved from the past "follow-up" to "run-in" or even to "lead-in", such as power generation equipment, power transmission equipment, rail transit equipment, communications equipment and other industries have been in the leading position in the world. In addition, in the past 70 years, small and medium-sized enterprises and private enterprises in China have developed vigorously, from small to large, from weak to strong, playing a unique and important role in increasing employment, stable growth and promoting innovation, and playing an increasingly prominent role as a new force in the national economy. By the end of 2018, the number of small and medium-sized enterprises in China has exceeded 30 million, the number of individual business households has exceeded 70 million, contributing more than 50% of the national tax revenue, more than 60% of GDP, more than 70% of technological innovation achievements and more than 80% of the labor force employment.
Promoting the high-quality development of major technological equipment
Major technological equipment is related to national strategic security and lifeline of national economy, is a basic and strategic product, is an important symbol to measure the core competitiveness of a country's manufacturing industry, is also the most important weapon of the country, and plays a supporting and driving role in the development of the entire national economy. 。 On the one hand, the rapid development of major technology and equipment has effectively led to the upgrading of industrial technology in China and upgraded the basic capacity of industry and the level of industrial chain. On the other hand, major technology and equipment can also provide basic support for key areas of national economy, such as energy, petrochemical, transportation and so on, to meet the major needs of national economic construction. It is of great strategic significance for accelerating the construction of our manufacturing power and achieving high-quality development.
Take C919 as an example, in the development process of C919, Shanghai has also formed a leading civil aircraft industry chain, which includes more than 20 provinces and cities such as Shaanxi, Sichuan, Liaoning, and more than 200 enterprises, with nearly 200,000 people participating. A number of powerful private enterprises and transnational corporations have also entered the development system of large-scale passenger aircraft.
Miaowei said that it would continue to adhere to the supply-side structural reform as the main line, coordinate efforts from the three links of R&D, engineering and industrialization, complete major shortcomings, enhance innovation capacity and promote high-quality development of major technical equipment. First, we should strengthen overall coordination, strengthen the overall leadership of the leading group for building a strong manufacturing country, coordinate resources of all parties, and jointly promote the innovation and development of major technology and equipment across regions, industries and fields. Secondly, we should promote the innovation of R&D system, demand-oriented, enterprise-oriented, industry-university-research, upstream and downstream.
