China's first cruise port import duty-free shop will open in Shanghai

According to Beijing Business Daily, China's first cruise port duty-free shop will open in Shanghai today. In November, 2001, it opened its business during the China International Import Expo, with an area of 1700. Before that, Tianjin and Shanghai had made it clear that they would build Cruise Port duty-free stores. The responsible persons of both ports said that the new duty-free stores were planned to open in the year and that they had already carried out the investment promotion work of management rights.
All the inbound passengers from the port are the customers of the cruise port's inbound duty-free stores. After opening, the duty-free market in China will have various types of duty-free stores.p>nbspp>Shanghai cruise port entry duty-free shop is expected to play an important role in the construction of China cruise tourism development demonstration zone. In addition, the annual turnover of duty-free outlets at Shanghai Sea Cruise Port is 120 million yuan.
