The Investment Exceeds 28 Billion! Sinopec Another Million Tons of Ethylene Project Starts Soon
The total progress of Hainan Refinery's 1 million tons of ethylene project is 93.96%
Hainan Refining & Chemical's 1 million tons/year ethylene and refining expansion project is a key project of Hainan Province and Sinopec, with a total investment of more than 28 billion yuan. At present, the overall progress of the project is about 93.96% completed. After it is completed and put into operation, it is expected to directly drive more than 100 billion yuan of downstream industries, and it will become a new engine for the future development of Hainan Province.
About 14,000 workers are in full swing at the site of Hainan Refining & Chemical's 1 million tons/year ethylene and oil refining reconstruction and expansion project. According to reports, the overall progress of the project has been completed by about 93.96%, the main projects of various public works have been handed over in succession, the main production devices have entered the peak period of electrical and instrument installation, and each link is steadily advancing according to the established time node.
According to Gong Yaohui, the chief construction dispatcher of the ethylene project, in order to meet the node target requirements of "6·30" and "9·30", all functional departments work together to formulate specific CCCC plans according to the actual situation. Last month, the project has entered the formal "three investigations and four determinations" ahead of schedule, to ensure that the problems are checked in advance, and to ensure that the follow-up production and material delivery time nodes are completed on schedule.
All 11 major public works projects have been handed over
On May 23, Hainan Refinery and Chemical's ethylene project held a signing ceremony for the centralized delivery of public works devices. Six major projects including the power center constructed by Ningbo Engineering Company were officially signed by CCCC, marking that 11 Hainan ethylene projects were contracted by the company's EPC. The main items of public works have all been handed over.
The 1 million tons/year ethylene and oil refining reconstruction and expansion project of Hainan Refinery is a key project included in the national petrochemical industry plan. It is also a key project for Sinopec to promote the development strategy of "two three years and two ten years" to build a world-class energy and chemical company. support project. After the project is put into operation, it will greatly promote the development of downstream industries such as advanced agriculture, green chemicals, tourism and health, improve the competitiveness of Sinopec in the international market, ensure national energy security, drive the economic development of Hainan Province and help the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port.
