Amino acids are the basic structure of proteins, which are essential to life, and the vast majority of life on Earth has very complex proteins. Later scientists used some indirect methods, such as the spectral analysis method, through the telescope to observe a distant star, because different substances have different absorption of different wavelengths of radio or light, infrared, and through this spectral analysis found that there are some traces of similar amino acids or similar organic substances on many planets, including asteroids and comets. Now for the first time, humans have direct evidence that amino acids do exist on stars outside the Earth.
However, it is still only a preliminary study, and we need to wait for follow-up studies. Because although amino acids have been detected, but whether these amino acids are as necessary as life on Earth, whether they can correspond with those 20 amino acids one by one, and whether its form is the same as that of our life on Earth, further studies are needed.
