Susanne Kaufmann, an Austrian independent skin care brand

UK private equity fund acquired part of the stake in Susanne Kaufmann, an Austrian independent skin care brand, to help the latter expand its brand influence and accelerate its growth.
A well-known minority perfume brand Diptyque investor and a UK private equity fund Manzanita Capital, said recently that it has acquired some equity interest in Austria independent skincare brand Susanne Kaufmann, helping the latter expand its brand influence and accelerate its growth. The co-founder of Susanne Kaufmann said she would continue to play the role of brand shareholder and general manager after the transaction was completed. "As in the past, my main responsibility is to develop products and ensure their quality," she said. In the future, our team will work hard to make our brand a leader in the clean and beauty industry. This acquisition will not bring any changes to brand management. The Susanne Kaufmann brand was founded in 2003 in Bregenzewald, Austria. In the 1990s, the founder and his family co-operated a family hotel in the Austrian Alps. Initially inspired by natural plants, she offered beauty care spa services in hotels.
She realized that it was necessary to establish an independent skin care brand, so she manufactured skin care products by hand with extracts from natural plants such as local chamomile and sage. Its brand products include a series of facial and body care products. The price: 100ml toner sells for 37 euros, facial cleanser 50ml sells for 55 euros, and face cream 50ml sells for 71 euros.
Manzanita Capital was founded in 2001, headquartered in London, focusing on investing in the acquisition of high-end cosmetics brands. Its many well-known brands portfolio, in addition to the French minority perfume brand Diptyque, also includes the Swedish perfume brand Byredo, the American skin care brand Kevyn Aucoin, the British skin care brand Eve Lom, cosmetics brand Lipstick Queen, IO Apothecary and Malin + IO.
