Alcoma increases the capacity of orgasol special polyamide powder in France

A new production line of ultra-high performance polyamide 12 powder has been successfully put into production in Mont plant, France. After the new production line is put into operation, its global production capacity will be increased by more than 50%, supporting the rapid development of demand growth of industrial application segments, especially in the paint, personal care, composite materials and 3D printing market. This investment in Mont special polyamide powder in France is about 20 million euros, which will help the group to accelerate the development of advanced materials strategy. Akoma specialty polyamide 12 powder is sold under the brand of orgasol. This series of products are famous in the industry for their strictly controlled powder size distribution and excellent tenacity. They are commonly used in high-performance formulations in the paint and personal care markets, as well as advanced composite materials in the aerospace market. With its stability and recyclability, the series is also widely used in the fast-growing 3D printing market. Mont plant has a long history in special powder production. We will continue to actively support customers with new capacity in the growing top application areas, including high-performance coatings, composite materials and 3D printing market.
