Azerbaijan's exports of 23.3 million tons of oil in the first 9 months increased

According to Baku news agency of Azerbaijan on October 17, 2019, the national customs Commission of Azerbaijan released statistical data on oil, natural gas and electricity exports of Azerbaijan in the first nine months of this year in Baku on October 17. Statistics show that from January to September this year, Azerbaijan exported 23.3 million tons of oil, worth 11.3 billion US dollars. From January to September last year, Azerbaijan exported 22 million tons of oil, worth 11.6 billion US dollars. As a result, in terms of oil exports, Azerbaijan's oil exports in the first nine months of this year increased by 6% year-on-year, and in terms of value, they fell by 2.8% year-on-year. According to the statistics of the State Customs Commission of Azerbaijan, the natural gas export volume of Azerbaijan in the first nine months of this year reached 9.1 billion cubic meters, worth 1.8 billion US dollars. In the same period last year, Azerbaijan exported 5.3 billion cubic meters of natural gas, worth US $1.28 billion. As a result, this year, Azerbaijan's natural gas exports increased by 73% year-on-year in volume and 76.1% year-on-year in value.
