Vitamin D was Japan brand FANCL’s best-selling supplement in April 2020, with sales growing 218% compared to the corresponding period last year.

Oyster extract and turmeric liver supplements ranked second, with sales up 88%. PROPOLIS is the third most popular supplement, with sales up 78%.

FANCL pointed out that this may prompt consumers to worry about their lack of vitamin D, thus promoting the growth of vitamin D sales.
