Let traditional Chinese medicine bring health and well-being to the people

"Traditional Chinese medicine is our national treasure and the key to opening the treasure house of Chinese civilization. As the wisdom crystallization of the Chinese nation's long-term struggle against disease, Chinese traditional medicine has five thousand years of inheritance and accumulation, and always plays an important role in promoting health. The international cooperation of traditional Chinese medicine is one of the important strategies for the leap forward development of traditional Chinese medicine. At the press conference of "China CEEC traditional medicine forum" held on October 18, Dr. Ji Gaofeng, executive chairman of the forum and President of Beijing huajitang International Medical Research Institute, introduced to reporters that traditional Chinese medicine will establish strategic partnership with European countries, carry out comprehensive and sustainable international cooperation, and make greater contribution to improving global health governance. The scope of benefits will not only cover traditional medicine, but also other fields such as culture, scientific research, education, commerce and trade. The press conference was jointly held by Beijing huajitang International Pharmaceutical Research Institute, the Ministry of health of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Ministry of foreign affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in China. Anton rier, BIH's ambassador to China, some ambassadors and diplomats from more than 10 European countries, and some representatives of Chinese medicine industry attended the conference. In the press conference, Anton rier, Bosnia and Herzegovina's ambassador to China, said: "over the past 40 years of reform and opening up, China has made remarkable achievements, and its rapid development in all aspects has greatly improved people's living standards. I was appointed ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to China in 2016, but this is not my first time in China. More than 10 years ago, I visited China as Vice Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Over the past 10 years, I have witnessed great changes in China. Compared with more than 10 years ago, the Chinese people not only pay more and more attention to health issues, but also look more energetic. However, with the development of the country and the improvement of people's living standards, disease problems have always existed, such as the aging of the population, the rising incidence of chronic diseases and even death. This is mainly due to changes in people's lifestyle and living environment. Chinese medicine is very helpful in the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases, which I have a deep understanding of. I also hope that people in Bosnia and Herzegovina and more countries in the world can enjoy the health achievements brought by traditional Chinese medicine, which is the purpose of this press conference. We will officially hold the "China CEE traditional medicine forum" in BIH in April next year. "
