What should we do if the deficiency of support and expansion is not compensated?

Recently, Ms. Chen came to the clinic for health care because of repeated cold and cough, which seriously affected her daily life. As soon as she entered the door, she complained constantly about her weakness and poor resistance. When her family sneezed, she would catch a cold. Her family soon recovered, but her cough was difficult to heal. So she came to seek Professor Lin Lin's help and hoped to take good care of her body through traditional Chinese medicine. Professor Lin inquired in detail about the history of the disease and concluded that repeated coughing would aggravate each time due to cold. In peacetime, white and sticky phlegm with yellow phlegm, purulent phlegm with severe cases, and in one case, bloody phlegm. The tongue is red and mossy with fine veins. Chest CT examination showed mild bronchiectasis. Peacetime personality characteristics are earnest persistence, meticulous, quick to do things, quick temper, easy to insomnia. Mrs. Chen's physical characteristics are weak and susceptible to colds, and weak can not be compensated, slightly adjusting the remedy will catch fire. Thin body, usually eat a little glue, red dates, Astragalus will throat pain (on fire), so can only use some salvia, Ophiopogon japonicus, Huaishan and other peaceful things to cook soup. Professor Lin believes that Ms. Chen is a typical constitution of deficiency without supplement and excessive fire due to Yin deficiency. The so-called "lean people with more fire" is mainly deficiency of lung-yin and excessive fire due to liver-fire. Such people are most susceptible to bronchiectasis. Therefore, Ms. Chen was prescribed traditional Chinese medicine for nourishing Yin and clearing heat, invigorating qi and solidifying the surface to regulate her body. She was instructed to use materials such as Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae, Lily and Ophiopogon japonicus to cook soup for nourishing Yin. From time to time, we need to clear the liver, such as making chrysanthemum tea, rose tea, or taking mulberry and chrysanthemum drink. We should also pay attention to keeping our mood at ease, singing, dancing and relaxing. It's important to be happy. "We should not underestimate this liver fire, which is the cause of bronchiectasis caused by direct lung injury." Lin Lin said, "Liver fire is also easy to hurt the spleen and stomach, so not eating fat, but also lead to insomnia."
TCM diagnosis and treatment of bronchiectasis bronchiectasis, TCM disease is called "cough" and "cough blood", and the causes are mainly lung-yin deficiency and liver-fire hyperactivity. In the acute stage, liver-fire depression is the main manifestation, which is easy to lose temper, irritability, insomnia, dry mouth and bitter mouth, thirst, phlegm and yellow even cough bright red blood. When emotions are agitated, the symptoms will be aggravated. In the stable stage, lung-yin deficiency is the main manifestation, such as dry mouth and tongue, dry skin, dry cough and less phlegm, thin body, even palpitation, etc. Appearance of fatigue and weakness, do not want to speak, poor appetite, rotten stool, fear of cold and heat, breathlessness and other performance. Lin Lin believes that in the acute stage, attention should be paid to soothing the liver, clearing heat and expelling phlegm and pus. White grass root, yellow cypress, gardenia, honeysuckle, Scutellaria baicalensis, Prunella vulgaris and so on are commonly used for clearing heat; roses, peony bark, green tea, chrysanthemum, mulberry leaves are used for soothing liver; southern almond, northern almond, melon fruit, orange peel, Fritillaria Chuanbei and Zhejiang shellfish are used for eliminating phlegm. Lung Yin deficiency needs to be nourished by Ophiopogon japonicus, Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae, Yuzhu, Lily, Dendrobium, Asparagus and Trichosanthes pollen. Long-term illness can lead to deficiency of both qi and yin, which can be treated with Prince Ginseng, American Ginseng, Five-fingered Peach, Huaishan, a small amount of Astragalus membranaceus and other Yin-nourishing drugs. In addition, it can cooperate with Taiji, Baduanjin and other exercise methods to strengthen the body.
