Wanhua Chemical's Chemical Project with an Annual Output of Hundreds of Thousands of Tons is About to be Put into Construction!

Recently, the Yantai Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment has made a decision to approve the environmental impact assessment documents of several Wanhua Chemical projects. There are a total of four projects approved this time, namely the special isocyanate type high-end TPU technical transformation project with an annual output of 25,000 tons, and the annual output of 4 10,000 tons of polyetheramine project, 60,000 tons of polyester polyol project and nutritional products project.

Project 1

Project name: Technical transformation project of special isocyanate type high-end TPU with an annual output of 25,000 tons
Project Type: Technical Transformation
Project Location: The existing TPU installation area of Wanhua Yantai Industrial Park, Yantai Chemical Industrial Park
Total investment: 23.34 million yuan
Construction content: The raw material supply unit of the 31#-40# production line is adaptively transformed, and two 660m³ fixed-roof storage tanks and three 8.7m³ isocyanate storage tanks are constructed. The extrusion reaction, underwater granulation, Neither the drying dehydration nor the homogenizing packaging unit will be modified, nor will the capacity of the production line be changed. After the technical transformation, the product plan has changed from 33,000 tons/year of MDI-type TPU products to 8,200 tons/year of MDI-type ordinary TPU products and 25,000 tons/year of special isocyanate high-end TPU products.

Project 2

Project name: Project with an annual output of 40,000 tons of polyetheramine
Project Type: New
Project Location: Yantai Chemical Industrial Park Wanhua Yantai Industrial Park
Total investment: 296.96 million yuan
Construction content: Build a new set of 40,000 tons/year polyetheramine main unit, build a new polyether pipeline (from the C tank farm to this unit, 350m long), and a liquid ammonia pipeline (from the methylamine unit to this unit) device, 50m long), 2 polyetheramine pipelines (from the device to the Class C tank farm, 350m long; from the Class C tank farm to the packaging house, 150m long), 1 high-pressure ammonia-containing normal exhaust pipeline (from the Install to methylamine unit, 100m long), 1 waste water pipeline (from this unit to eastern sewage treatment Fenton unit, 3500m long) and other pipelines, and build a 20m³ initial rainwater pool. Other public works, storage and transportation works, auxiliary facilities, etc. all rely on existing works.

Project 3

Project name: Project with an annual output of 60,000 tons of polyester polyol
Project Type: Expansion
Project Location: Yantai Chemical Industrial Park Wanhua Yantai Industrial Park
Total investment: 203.8771 million yuan
Construction content: A new 60,000-ton/year polyester polyol plant will be built, including five 100m³ reactor production lines and one 50m³ reactor production line; a new solid feeding system (including a 1 set of bag filter) and 1 set of filling system. Accident pools, rainwater collection pools, temporary solid waste storage facilities and other facilities all rely on existing projects.
After the project is completed, it can add 60,000 tons of polyester polyol products per year, corresponding to 30,000 tons/year WHP-320 and 20,000 tons/year WHP-32.11 million tons/year WHP-322.

Project Name: Nutritional Products Project
Project Type: New
Project Location: Yantai Chemical Industrial Park Wanhua Yantai Industrial Park East Area
Total investment: 1,489.2 million yuan
Construction content: The project will construct 3 production units, including FCA (carbon pentaaldehyde) unit, VBL (purine alcohol) and FVA (W ester) unit, and RDP unit; construction of supporting public and auxiliary projects, specifically including nutritional products area tank group, east area Storage and transportation tank area, loading and unloading station in the east area, the eighteenth circulating water station, etc.
Product plan: 94.2 tons/year FCA (carbon pentaaldehyde), 5400 tons/year PON (false purple), 2990.9 tons/year TPPO (triphenylphosphine oxide), 2468.86 tons/year C15 phosphine salt, 700 tons/year W Ester concentrate, 392 tons/year W ester crystals, 10003.8 tons/year W ester preparations (including 3.6 tons/year and other foreign products), and 9635 tons/year by-product tetrahydrofuran (THF).
