Transforming Shaanxi coal mining to high yield and high efficiency Era

On October 29, the reporter learned from Shaanxi coal industry association that since the founding of the people's Republic of China, the coal production mode of Shaanxi Province has gradually changed to the direction of modern informatization, and coal mining has stepped into the era of high yield and efficiency. In 2018, the output of raw coal in the whole province reached 623 million tons, accounting for about 17% of the total, ranking the third in China. With the support of coal industry, thermal power generation, cement, ferrous metal, non-ferrous metal, coal chemical industry and other industries have made great progress. The quantity and quality of coal resources in Shaanxi are large and excellent, the coal types are complete, the occurrence conditions are relatively superior, and there are abundant coalbed methane and other resources associated with it. From north to south, there are five major coalfields, i.e. the Carboniferous Permian coalfield in Northern Shaanxi, the Jurassic Coalfield in Northern Shaanxi, the Triassic coalfield in Northern Shaanxi, the Jurassic Coalfield in Huanglong, the Carboniferous Permian coalfield in Northern Wei, and the scattered coal fields in Qinba Mountain Area in southern Shaanxi.
At present, there are 9 cities and 67 counties (cities and districts) in the province, with a total of 393.066 billion tons of coal resources, ranking the fourth in the country. In the early days of the founding of the people's Republic of China, most coal mines (kilns) in the province adopted the original windlass to lift, and the underground mining method was very backward manual mining. In the 1990s, the comprehensive mechanization of coal mining and driving was popularized in an all-round way, and the mechanization of state-owned mines was realized in an all-round way. In the 21st century, Shaanxi coal industry has entered a golden development period. In 2002, Daliuta mine, the first mine with an annual output of 10 million tons, was completed and put into operation. In 2014, the first intelligent unmanned comprehensive coal mining face in China was built in Huangling No.1 well, and then a number of coal mines in Shaanxi province realized intelligent unmanned mining. At present, the number of coal mines in Northern Shaanxi accounts for nearly 80% of the total amount of the province, and the number of coal mines under construction accounts for nearly 60% of the total amount of the province. Among them, 16 ten million ton modern coal mines are concentrated in Yushen and Yuheng large-scale mining areas, with a capacity of 223 million tons / year.
The main coal development units include national energy group, Shaanxi coal group, Yanchang Petroleum Mining Company, Shaanxi HuiSen coal industry company, Yulin Energy Group, etc. In accordance with the idea of "three transformations", Shaanxi Province has successively completed and put into operation a large number of projects of coal processing and transformation, coal electricity integration and comprehensive utilization of coalbed methane associated resources. Yuheng coal chemical industry park, Hancheng Longmen Coal Chemical Industry Economic Park, Pucheng coal chemical industry park, Huangling coal chemical industry park, Binchang coal chemical industry park and other new coal chemical industry clusters are developing rapidly. The energy and chemical industry base in Northern Shaanxi has become the only national energy and chemical industry base in China. In order to promote the structural adjustment of coal and other bulk cargo transportation, the state has planned and built a north-south heavy load coal transportation special line Haoji railway with an annual transportation capacity of more than 200 million tons. The Jingshen railway was completed and put into operation in September 2019, providing transport capacity support for the efficient development of large coal bases in Northern Shaanxi.
