64.73 tons of problematic food seized in Qinghai Province

Market Supervision Bureau of Qinghai Province disclosed on Nov. 13 that since the middle of September this year, Qinghai Province has carried out joint rectification of food safety issues, and 64.73 tons of problematic food have been seized, with a record value of 957000 yuan. According to the relevant person in charge of the market supervision bureau of Qinghai Province, since the middle of September, the market supervision administration bureau of Qinghai Province, the public security department, the education department and the agriculture and rural Department of Qinghai Province have jointly carried out the joint action of rectifying food safety problems.
The four departments comprehensively sorted out the problem clues found in supervision and inspection, sampling and monitoring, case investigation, complaint and report, media exposure, focused on the four aspects of pain, difficulty and focus of illegal behaviors in food production and operation, false publicity of health food, campus food safety, and quality and safety of agricultural products, dug in the prominent problems that seriously infringed the interests of the masses, and increased rectification. Qinghai Province, Xining City rectification of food safety issues joint action team said. According to the relevant person in charge of the market supervision bureau of Qinghai Province, since the middle of September, the province has carried out a joint rectification action on food safety issues, with a total of 64.73 tons of problematic food seized and a record value of 957000 yuan. From November 11 to 15, the provincial market supervision system will successively carry out centralized destruction of confiscated articles.
