The overall balance of coal supply and demand in Northeast China is guaranteed

With the opening of heating season in the north, heating energy supply has been widely concerned. The national development and Reform Commission recently revealed that in this heating season, China's energy supply and demand are generally balanced, but may be affected by factors such as continuous large-scale extremely cold weather, and there is a certain pressure on supply and demand balance in some regions, some varieties and peak hours. Through the full and solid work of supply guarantee in the early stage, as well as the targeted increase of regulation and guarantee during the heating season, the peak winter can be successfully met. According to the relevant person in charge of the national development and Reform Commission, the current coal supply and demand is generally balanced. During the heating season, the coal demand for power generation and heating in Northeast China has increased significantly. The power supply is relatively abundant, and the balance of power supply and demand needs to be strengthened in a few regions.

With the centralized release of heating gas demand, the task of gas supply guarantee in peak period is relatively heavy. It is reported that since this year, China has continued to steadily promote the construction of natural gas production, supply, storage and marketing system, further improve the supply guarantee capacity, and ensure the full amount of gas for people's livelihood such as residents. First, we should focus on resource supply, increase domestic storage and production, and diversify imports. It is estimated that China will produce more than 170 billion cubic meters of natural gas and increase production by more than 11 billion cubic meters in the whole year. The natural gas pipeline of the eastern China Russia pipeline was put into operation in early December, which can increase the supply of new resources; the import of liquefied natural gas (LNG) has maintained a rapid growth. Second, vigorously promote the interconnection of pipe networks around transportation. This year, the gas supply capacity of channels such as "south to North gas transmission" and "northeast to customs" can be effectively increased, and the resource supply guarantee capacity for Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei and other northern regions can be enhanced. Third, we will promote the construction of gas storage facilities around reserves.

As of this year's heating season, the country is expected to build a gas storage capacity of nearly 20 billion cubic meters, which should be fully stored before winter. Fourth, around peak regulation, make a detailed list of non resident interruptible peak regulation users with more than 300 million cubic meters / day. During the peak period of gas consumption, the gas consumption enterprises shall be organized in an orderly manner according to the needs to shift peak production to ensure the gas demand of people's livelihood. In view of the coal supply guarantee in Northeast China, the person in charge said that since July this year, all relevant departments, localities and enterprises have started to prepare, take comprehensive measures, implement coal sources and improve coal storage level. At present, the coal storage and utilization days of key power plants in Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang are more than 24 days, an increase of 6 to 10 days compared with the same period last year, and the heating coal consumption of residents is better guaranteed. The person in charge stressed that we should further do a good job in ensuring the heating coal consumption in Northeast China. We will give full play to the role of main coal mines in ensuring supply, support high-quality coal mines to release production capacity, increase coal sources through multiple channels, and ensure coal demand for people's livelihood, increase coal railway and port transportation capacity, and appropriately strengthen demand guidance and management to ensure coal demand for power generation and heating.
