Guizhou releases the first local standard in the field of national exploration
Recently, Guizhou Provincial Department of natural resources issued the technical specifications for green exploration of solid mineral resources. It is reported that this is the first local standard in the field of green exploration in China, marking an important step in promoting the transformation and green development of mining industry in Guizhou Province. As an important normative document in the field of green exploration, the standard has important practical significance for Guizhou Province to strictly implement the ecological environment protection and standardize all exploration activities in the exploration process. The standard consists of 10 chapters and appendixes, including scope, normative references, terms and definitions, general principles, implementation scheme, green exploration and construction, ecological environment protection, environmental restoration and management, harmonious geological exploration environment and data submission, etc. The content fully embodies the concept of ecological priority and green exploration, taking into account the geological, natural geographical and groundwater environmental characteristics of Guizhou. The standard implements the overall layout of "five in one", pays attention to the integrated construction of economy, society and ecology, and embodies the new development concepts of green and innovation. According to the introduction, since 2016, Guizhou has taken the lead in carrying out green exploration in China by drawing on advanced exploration experience and environmental protection measures from abroad. It has successively implemented green exploration pilot projects in more than 20 projects, refined and summarized a large number of environmental protection and recovery measures, and formed local standards in Guizhou. These practices provide reference for the green exploration practice and standard setting of many provinces and the Ministry of natural resources.
