Global steel market keeps booming, crude steel output will reach 1.83bn tons

On December 30, CISA said in an analysis report. According to CISA, global crude steel production will reach a record 1.83 billion tons in 2019. Data shows that in November, the crude steel output of 64 countries included in the statistics of the world steel association was 147.8 million tons, down 1.0% year-on-year; from January to November, the global crude steel output was 1.684 billion tons, up 2.7% year-on-year, with an increase of 43.96 million tons; according to this prediction, the global crude steel output in 2019 will reach a record 1.83 billion tons, up 2.5% year-on-year, with an increase of 44.6 million tons. According to CISA, based on the expectations of most industries for the steel market next year and the prediction of the cyclical operation track of steel prices, the global steel market in January 2020 may start with an increase.
