China will implement the unified accounting of GDP in an all-round way
The national statistical work conference was held in Beijing on the 5th. It is reported that in 2020, China will formally and comprehensively implement the unified accounting of regional GDP. Unified accounting of regional GDP is the breakthrough and landmark achievement of statistical reform. According to the deployment, in 2019, the National Bureau of statistics took the implementation of the unified accounting of regional GDP as a major reform measure, made concerted efforts to tackle key problems, used the data of the economic census to revise the regional GDP in 2018, and completed the revision and historical revision of the annual GDP data of the fourth national economic census. Starting from the year 2019, China formally implemented the reform of unified accounting of regional GDP. All regions and units will improve the working mechanism, improve the accounting method, consolidate the basic data, and promote the connection between the total amount of GDP and GDP. In 2020, China will also carry out the Seventh National Census and national poverty alleviation census.
