Danish company launches white chlorella
Danish food technology company Aliga Microalgae is currently introducing a white chlorella ingredient to the European market that is suitable for use as a formulation in a variety of mock foods or blends.
This white chlorella ingredient is described as chlorophyll-free and is intended as a complement to the green chlorella ingredient, with a neutral taste and flavor. The ingredient combines plant-based, allergen-free, and protein-rich properties for artificial meat, artificial seafood, and mixed meats, savory foods, baked goods, and dairy products.
In addition, the ingredient consists only of fermented and dried natural chlorella, a non-GMO food that contains a variety of vitamins and minerals required by the human body, and also improves the organoleptic properties of certain products with its unique algae flavor.
