On August 24, the National Health Insurance Bureau centrally released its response to the suggestions of the representatives of the Fifth Session of the 13th National People's Congress.
In response to the "innovative medical materials medical insurance payment issues" raised by Yuan Yuyu, the founder of Maple Medical, the National Medical Insurance Bureau clearly: we are studying and improving the relevant policies, guiding the local timely eligible innovative medical consumables into the scope of medical insurance payment according to the procedure, and steadily improve the level of protection for patients participating in the insurance. At the same time, in the process of promoting DRG and DIP payment, innovative medical consumables will be paid according to the relevant regulations and procedures.
The National Health Insurance Bureau mentioned in its reply: At present, the National Health Insurance Bureau is studying to improve the centralized procurement platform of medicine hanging mechanism, promote the establishment of national unified hanging and transaction rules, strengthen the centralized procurement platform of medicine standardization, standardization, professional construction, optimizing the process, timely response, open and transparent when hanging, not only to reduce the burden of the masses, but also to help innovative medical device industry innovation and development.
In the next step, the relevant state departments will further increase the scientific and technological support and investment in research and development for the high-end medical device industry, and encourage national clinical medical research centers and other centers to carry out clinical research and clinical use of innovative medical device products on a pilot basis, while further optimizing the procurement rules for listing on the pharmaceutical centralized procurement platform, improving the medical insurance payment policy, promoting the high-quality development of the medical device industry, and providing the people with more innovative products at reasonable prices.
