Industrial oil and gas flow from the deepest oil wells in Asia
When the Spring Festival is coming, the good news comes from Tarim Oilfield: CNPC risk exploration well round exploration well 1 has been found. After testing, it is equivalent to 133.46 cubic meters per day of crude oil and 48700 cubic meters of natural gas, opening a new page of ultra deep exploration below 8000 meters. Lunjian-1 well is located in Kuqa City, Xinjiang, with a drilling depth of 8882 meters. It is currently the first deep oil well in Asia. The purpose of drilling is to explore the petroliferous properties of the ultra deep Cambrian under salt dolomite and accelerate the exploration process of the new field of ultra deep carbonate rock. Tarim Oilfield and western drilling and other units overcame the problems of ultra deep, ultra-high pressure and high temperature in the reservoir, carried out joint technical breakthrough in drilling speed, completion and production, and created seven records of the deepest onshore well and the deepest oil and gas well in Asia, marking that the ultra deep drilling technology of Tarim Oilfield has been in the leading level in the world. Yang Xuewen, Secretary of the Party Working Committee and general manager of Tarim Oilfield Company, introduced that the industrial oil and gas flow obtained in the 8200m ultra deep layer of luntan-1 well is a major strategic discovery obtained in the brand-new field and new stratigraphic series of Tarim Basin, which has opened up a huge oil and gas treasure house in the deep layer of the basin and strengthened the confidence and determination of Tarim Oilfield in finding large oil and gas fields in the ultra deep field.
