Biesterfeld to Distribute Kao’s Cosmetic, Cleaning Products in Switzerland

Biesterfeld Spezialchemie GmbH said that it will distribute products from Kao Chemicals Europe in Switzerland, with immediate effect, thus expanding its offering for the personal care and cleaning industry. 

The wide-ranging portfolio includes, amongst others, alkyl ether carboxylates, which are used as mild co-surfactants, emulsifiers and solubilising agents in both cosmetic and cleaning products. These are marketed under the trade name AKYPO. The glycerin polyoxyethylene esters in the LEVENOL and EMANON product lines are well-established as versatile nonionic specialities and can be used in foaming compositions with beneficial labelling. The range is rounded off by sulphates, amine oxides and ester quats.
