Limited production of ferroalloy and calcium carbide energy consuming industries
Yesterday, we learned from the Economic Commission of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region that from August 1, Ningxia will limit the production of two high energy consuming industries, ferroalloy and calcium carbide, to ensure the realization of energy conservation and emission reduction goals. In order to curb the excessive growth of industries with high energy consumption and high pollution and effectively reduce the discharge of major pollutants, in recent years, the Ningxia Autonomous Region government has successively eliminated small furnace ferroalloy and calcium carbide submerged arc furnace with high energy consumption, making the power consumption of ferroalloy smelting reach 8620 kwh / ton, and the power consumption of calcium carbide process reach 3370 kwh / ton, which are lower than the national average level, and the power consumption of some large ferroalloy smelting, etc It has reached the national advanced level. In order to achieve this year's energy conservation and emission reduction targets, the autonomous region government decided to limit the production of Ferroalloy by 200000 tons and carbide by 100000 tons from August 1 to December 31 this year. It is reported that in the first half of this year, Ningxia has produced 545400 tons of ferroalloy, and it is expected that the annual output will reach 1.1 million tons, with the control volume of 900000 tons in the whole region. Yinchuan city has a production limit of 24600 tons, Shizuishan City has a production limit of 128700 tons, Wuzhong City has a production limit of 21700 tons and Zhongwei city has a production limit of 25000 tons. In the first half of the year, calcium carbide has produced 1082000 tons, and it is expected that the production will reach 2.1 million tons by the end of the year, and the production will be controlled within 2 million tons. Shizuishan has a production limit of 33700 tons, Wuzhong has a production limit of 21100 tons and Zhongwei has a production limit of 45200 tons.
