Methanol Guide: The domestic methanol market rose in part yesterday. Affected by the policy, the transportation cost has declined, and with the downstream enterprises returning to work one after another, local downstream demand is expected to improve, in addition, the main production area enterprises have a relatively smooth shipment, which has certain support for the mainland. The port delivery situation slightly improved compared with the previous period, but the expected start-up of some MTO units in East China fell, and the port inventory still maintained accumulation. Futures open higher and go lower, and spot prices fluctuate with the market. Short term domestic methanol market may be dominated by narrow range shocks.
