NDRC's Press Conference on Winter Heating Campaign
From November 15, the conventional winter peak season officially began in northern China, along with the coal-to-gas reform, the natural gas supply in northern China faced its limits probably. However, on the day November 15, NDRC called a press conference to pledge again that “The overall gas supply will be affluent this winter.”
NDRC indicated four aspects to guarantee the natural gas peak shaving: first, to increase the resource supply by full-loaded producing & import promoting & delivering; second, to enhance the peak-shaving capacity; third, to promote the conjunction of different pipeline system and transport resources in southern China coastal regions to northern China; fourth, to prevent contingency caused by weather or others reasons and prepare proper contingency plans.
According to the representative of NDRC, the supply situation is critical in this winter, however, on account of the well-run overall disposition and well-directed peak-shaving arrangement, NDRC has confident on the smooth and sound heating support of residential natural gas.
