Bayer South China Women's health care field personnel and organizational changes.
Recently, some media revealed that Bayer South China women's health treatment field will set up Shenzhen region, responsible for the product promotion function in Shenzhen market and some markets in eastern Guangdong.
Bayer said that the move is to further implement the prescription drug China TNN strategy, maximize the support for the rapid growth of women's health treatment field, and based on the product line strategy and regional layout considerations.
In general, organizational structure adjustment will inevitably bring about corresponding personnel changes.
It is reported that Luo Jiang, the current senior regional manager of Guangzhou Group 3 of Guangdong-Guangxi Region in the South China Women's health treatment field, will be promoted to Shenzhen region manager of the South China women's health treatment field, and will report directly to Xiao Lu, director of the South China women's health treatment field.
Now Shenzhen 1 group, Shenzhen 2 group and Guangzhou 4 Group of South China Women's health treatment field will be divided into Shenzhen regional structure, and the corresponding managers will report to Luo Jiang, regional manager of Shenzhen.
Li Zhao, senior regional Promotion Manager of Guangdong-Guangxi Region, will support related business work in Guangdong-Guangxi Region and Shenzhen Region at the same time, and the reporting line will remain unchanged.
Now the remaining teams and HR reporting lines in Guangdong and Guangxi Region remain unchanged and report to Wei Zhiyun, senior regional manager of Guangdong and Guangxi Region.
The changes will take effect on 1 November 2022.
It is worth mentioning that in May this year, Bayer China announced a new structural adjustment, one is the establishment of the oncology business unit, the other is the combination of cardiovascular and diabetes, renamed the metabolic therapy field, effective June 1, 2022.
At present, China has become one of the most important pillars of Bayer's global business, which is the world's largest market for the prescription drug business and the world's second largest market for the consumer health business.
For Bayer China, the transformation includes not only the change of business model, such as accelerating the launch of new products and promoting the digitalization process, but also the adjustment of organizational structure, accelerating decision-making, and adjusting the layout of new products among the existing teams in different therapeutic areas.
