Urinary tract infection
Urinary tract infection (UTI) refers to the inflammation caused by the growth and reproduction of pathogens in the urinary tract and the invasion of the urinary tract mucosa or tissue. It is the most common type of bacterial infection. Urinary tract infection is divided into upper urinary tract infection and lower urinary tract infection. Upper urinary tract infection refers to pyelonephritis, and lower urinary tract infection includes urethritis and cystitis. According to the presence or absence of underlying diseases, urinary tract infection can also be divided into complicated urinary infection and uncomplicated urinary infection. Pyelonephritis is further divided into acute pyelonephritis and chronic pyelonephritis. It is more common in women. Its clinical manifestations are often: acute urethral syndrome, chronic urethral syndrome, asymptomatic bacteriuria, renal abscess and perinephric abscess. Among them, urinary tract infections caused by different pathogens include: chlamydial urinary tract infection, mycoplasma urinary tract infection, fungal urinary tract infection, and parasitic urinary tract infection. Urinary tract infections in different populations include: menopausal urinary tract infection, pediatric urinary tract infection, elderly urinary tract infection, postpartum urinary tract infection, and pregnancy urinary tract infection.

Co-sulfamethoxazole Tablets
Indication: This product is a white tablet. In recent years, many common clinical pathogens often show resistance to this product, so the treatment of bacterial infections needs to refer to the drug sensitivity results. The main indications of this product are the following infections caused by sensitive strains: 1. Urinary tract infections caused by sensitive strains of Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Enterobacter, Proteus mirabilis, Proteus vulgaris and Morganella. 2. Acute otitis media in children over 2 years old caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae or Haemophilus influenzae. 3. Acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis in adults caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae or Haemophilus influenzae. 4. Intestinal infections and Shigella infections caused by sensitive strains of Shigella flexneri or Shigella sonnei. 5. This product is the first choice for the treatment of Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia. 6. For the prevention of Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia, patients with a history of at least one attack of Pneumocystis carinii can be used.

CEFEPIME- cefepime_injection, solution
Indication: Cefepime Injection is a cephalosporin antibacterial indicated in the treatment of the following infections caused by susceptible isolates of the designated microorganisms: pneumonia ( 1. 5 To reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria and maintain the effectiveness of Cefepime Injection and other antibacterial drugs, Cefepime Injection should be used only to treat or prevent infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by bacteria. 6 Cefepime Injection is indicated for pneumonia (moderate to severe) caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Enterobacter Cefepime Injection as monotherapy is indicated for empiric treatment of febrile neutropenic patients. In patients at high risk for severe infection (including patients with a history of recent bone marrow transplantation, with hypotension at presentation, with an underlying hematologic malignancy, or with severe or prolonged neutropenia), antimicrobial monotherapy may not be appropriate. Insufficient data exist to support the efficacy of cefepime monotherapy in such patients [ see Clinical Studies (14) Cefepime Injection is indicated for uncomplicated and complicated urinary tract infections (including pyelonephritis) caused by Escherichia coli Klebsiella pneumoniae, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Proteus mirabilis, Cefepime Injection is indicated for uncomplicated skin and skin structure infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus Streptococcus pyogenes Cefepime Injection is indicated for complicated intra-abdominal infections (used in combination with metronidazole) caused by Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Enterobacter Bacteroides fragilis [see Clinical Studies (14) To reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria and maintain the effectiveness of Cefepime Injection and other antibacterial drugs, Cefepime Injection should be used only to treat or prevent infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by susceptible bacteria. When culture and susceptibility information are available, they should be considered in selecting or modifying antibacterial therapy. In the absence of such data, local epidemiology and susceptibility patterns may contribute to the empiric selection of therapy.

GENTAMICIN SULFATE IN SODIUM CHLORIDE- gentamicin sulfate_injection, solution
Indication: To reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria and maintain the effectiveness of gentamicin and other antibacterial drugs, gentamicin should be used only to treat or prevent infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by susceptible bacteria. When culture and susceptibility information are available, they should be considered in selecting or modifying antibacterial therapy. In the absence of such data, local epidemiology and susceptibility patterns may contribute to the empiric selection of therapy. Gentamicin Sulfate in 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection is indicated in the treatment of serious infections caused by susceptible strains of the following microorganisms: Pseudomonas aeruginosa Proteus Escherichia coli Klebsiella Enterobacter-Serratia Citrobacter species Staphylococcus species Clinical studies have shown gentamicin sulfate to be effective in bacterial neonatal sepsis; bacterial septicemia; and serious bacterial infections of the central nervous system (meningitis), urinary tract, respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract (including peritonitis), skin, bone and soft tissue (including burns). Aminoglycosides, including gentamicin, are not indicated in uncomplicated initial episodes of urinary tract infections unless the causative organisms are susceptible to these antibiotics and are not susceptible to antibiotics having less potential for toxicity. Specimens for bacterial culture should be obtained to isolate and identify causative organisms and to determine their susceptibility to gentamicin. Gentamicin may be considered as initial therapy in suspected or confirmed gram-negative infections, and therapy may be instituted before obtaining results of susceptibility testing. The decision to continue therapy with this drug should be based on the results of susceptibility tests, the severity of the infection, and the important additional concepts contained in the " WARNINGS In serious infections when the causative organisms are unknown, gentamicin may be administered as initial therapy in conjunction with a penicillin-type or cephalosporin-type drug before obtaining results of susceptibility testing. If anaerobic organisms are suspected as etiologic agents, consideration should be given to using other suitable antimicrobial therapy in conjunction with gentamicin. Following identification of the organism and its susceptibility, appropriate antibiotic therapy should then be continued. Gentamicin has been used effectively in combination with carbenicillin for the treatment of life-threatening infections caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa Gentamicin has also been shown to be effective in the treatment of serious staphylococcal infections. While not the antibiotic of first choice, gentamicin may be considered when penicillins or other less potentially toxic drugs are contraindicated and bacterial susceptibility tests and clinical judgment indicate its use. It may also be considered in mixed infections caused by susceptible strains of staphylococci and gram-negative organisms. In the neonate with suspected bacterial sepsis or staphylococcal pneumonia, a penicillin-type drug is also usually indicated as concomitant therapy with gentamicin.
