Cryptorchidism
Cryptorchidism refers to a malformation in which one or both testicles fail to descend into the scrotum after 2 months of age. Cryptorchidism is divided into true cryptorchidism and false cryptorchidism. Cryptorchidism is one of the most common congenital malformations of the urinary and reproductive system in children. It is mostly unilateral, with the right side being the main undescended testicle, and about 15% is bilateral. The incidence rate in premature infants is about 30%. Cryptorchidism is caused by the long-term retention of the testicles in the abdominal cavity or inguinal canal, which is affected by the "high temperature" in the body and can easily cause male infertility.

Those with long-term hypogonadotropin function should also be treated with testosterone. 3. Female anovulatory infertility caused by pituitary gonadotropin deficiency is often treated with clomiphene in combination with postmenopausal gonadotropins to promote ovulation. 4. Indication: 1. To supplement the lack of estrogen and treat female hypogonadism, amenorrhea, menopausal syndrome, etc.; used for the treatment of advanced breast cancer (postmenopausal women) and advanced prostate cancer; used in combination with progesterone drugs, it can inhibit ovulation and can be used as a contraceptive. It is mainly used clinically as an ovulation inhibitor; it is also used for cryptorchidism and androgen excess in children, pituitary tumors, etc. It is used to diagnose hypothalamic-adenohypophysial-gonadal dysfunction, which can be based on changes in gonadotropin and sex hormone levels. 2. To treat amenorrhea and infertility caused by hypogonadism due to insufficient secretion of gonadotropin, and infertility of multifollicular ovary. For amenorrhea related to weight loss, the weight should be corrected by diet first. It is also used for prostate cancer (often used in combination with cyproterone acetate or fluazifop), delayed or early puberty, and endometrial dysplasia. Main
