Anovulatory Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding
Dysfunctional uterine bleeding is referred to as functional uterine bleeding. Dysfunctional uterine bleeding is defined as abnormal uterine bleeding caused by various organic diseases that are not related to the whole body or reproductive system. It can be manifested as excessive menstrual bleeding, prolonged duration, short or long intervals, unpredictable bleeding, or continuous bleeding with little amount of bleeding. In severe cases, the uterus may even need to be removed. Dysfunctional uterine bleeding can be divided into anovulatory dysfunctional uterine bleeding and ovulatory dysfunctional uterine bleeding.
